Welcome visitors and members. This web-page will need to be a team effort. The help I need from you is feedback! If I have any errors or you feel that there is room for improvement, this includes spelling and punctuation. I have spell checker, but I really dislike the properly spelled wrong word. "It's something one sees all to often now days". Let me know. Keep in mind any improvements may be limited by three things. My abilities, time, and I'll let you know what the third one is when I need an excuse. I don't want the site to be too fancy as many of you are on dial-up and fancy = slow. Fancy and development also equals slow.

On this page I will try to let you know what's new or what's changed. At some point in time this page may not be needed and will go away. I may sometimes put stuff here that interests me and would like to share with you or bore you. I may also have questions for you to help with the site.

You may email me at webmaster@livermorecc.org

What's new: Everything....... These latest changes were posted on 01 March. Coming soon will be "The Pastors Page" and others to follow. 05 March we added a page for the youth ministries. Kelly Auch was kind enough to put together some info for me and I've started to put it up. Keep checking back.

Thank you

Roger Lewis

This is a copy of an email I received. It is self explaining.

This is true.  I went in to Google and removed my name

This is VERY scary, especially for those who have children.

Google has implemented a new feature which enables you to type a telephone number into the search bar and hit enter, and you will be given the person's name and address. If you then hit MapQuest, you will get a map to the person's house. Everyone should be aware of this!  It's a nationwide reverse telephone book.

If a child gives out his/her phone number, someone can now look it up to find out where he/she lives. The safety issues are obvious and alarming.

Note that you can have your phone number removed or blocked. I tried my number, and it came up along with the map and directions straight to our house. I did fill out the removal form for myself, and encourage all of you to do the same.

In order to test whether your phone number is mapped, go to Google at WWW.google.com, type your phone number in the search bar (e.g. 555-555-1212) and press enter. If you want to BLOCK Google from divulging your private information, simply click on your telephone number and then click on the Removal Form. Removal takes 48 hours.

Please share this information with friends and family.
